Samsung to Present Cooling ‘Experience’ at 2018 AHR Expo

Visitors will be able to feel the difference between standard cooling technology and Wind-Free, which uses thousands of micro holes to gently disperse cold air.

Samsung’s booth (No. 5369) at the 2018 AHR Expo in Chicago (Jan. 22-24) will include a Wind-Free experience, highlighting advanced cooling technology that creates still air to cool a space. Visitors will be able to feel the difference between standard cooling technology and the Wind-Free advanced cooling technology for residential and commercial applications, which uses thousands of micro holes to gently disperse cold air.

Wind-Free is part of the company’s new fresh air systems, called Fresh Access. Other products include 40° F low ambient cooling systems, dedicated outdoor air systems and energy recovery ventilation systems. The booth will also showcase expansions to current product lines such as the Max Heat series and DVM S Eco, which support advanced heating performance and efficiency at -13° F.

“The HVAC industry will experience new technologies, connectivity and mobile support from Samsung this year,” said Russell Tavolacci, senior vice president and chief operating officer of Samsung HVAC America. “The AHR Expo is a valuable launch pad for us to reach a large audience of service professionals, engineers and design-build contractors.”
