AABC Seminar to Focus on HVAC-System Optimization

The Associated Air Balance Council (AABC) will present "Optimizing HVAC System Performance," a seminar for design engineers, building owners, commissioning providers, and others involved with building diagnostics, Oct. 5 in Nashville, Tenn.

The Associated Air Balance Council (AABC) will present "Optimizing HVAC System Performance," a seminar for design engineers, building owners, commissioning providers, and others involved with building diagnostics, Oct. 5 in Nashville, Tenn.

The following topics will be discussed:

• Proper duct design and leakage testing for LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).

• Developing more effective testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) specifications.

• Commissioning HVAC controls.

• TAB instrumentation.

• Testing and balancing existing buildings.

The seminar is American Institute of Architects-approved for four hours of continuing-education learning units (HSW/LU). Participants will receive a certificate of completion following the seminar.
