Industry People Group (IPG) and The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) have agreed on a partnership to develop, operate and launch an online career center catering to the HVACR engineering community.

The ASHRAE Career Center (www.ashraejobs.com) will provide a single location for professionals to research career opportunities, including employer profiles and specific job postings. Professionals will also be able to post into a resume database and promote themselves to employers.

“ASHRAEjobs.com will be an essential tool for meeting the needs of the industry’s employers and jobseekers,” Steve Comstock, ASHRAE’s director of education and publications, said. “While ASHRAEjobs.com will be open to all industry professionals, the career center will showcase the importance of ASHRAE Membership and ASHRAE Certifications by allowing employers to search by these criteria to find the most qualified candidates.”

“Highly skilled professionals like HVACR engineers need a career center that that speaks specifically to them," John von Harz, president of IPG, said. “The high relevance will speed up their search and simply offers a better online career-research experience.”
