HPAC Engineering Appoints Dave Moser to Advisory Board

Dave Moser, PE, CPMP, a senior engineer with PECI (www.peci.org), a Portland, Ore.-based non-profit organization providing energy-efficiency services to a variety of clients, is the newest member of HPAC Engineering's Editorial Advisory Board.

Moser, author of the widely discussed February 2010 HPAC Engineering article “Pressurization Control in Large Commercial Buildings” (http://bit.ly/Moser_0210), provides engineering services for a broad range of projects and programs focused on commercial-building energy efficiency. His experience includes implementing and managing the technical aspects of utility existing-building-commissioning programs, directing in-building commissioning projects, and leading research projects.

Prior to joining PECI, Moser led HVAC-design and construction-administration projects for new and existing commercial buildings with firms in Portland and Salt Lake City. He is a registered engineer in Oregon, holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with an emphasis on HVAC systems from Iowa State University, and is an ASHRAE-certified Commissioning Process Management Professional.

Moser is an active member of ASHRAE, serving on Technical Committee 7.9, Building Commissioning, as well as a committee developing a guideline for the existing-building commissioning process.

HPAC Engineering's Editorial Advisory Board is comprised of 31 distinguished professionals serving the HVACR industry. Possessing expertise in various engineering and scientific fields, they provide valuable assistance to the magazine's editors.
