As GBI president, Yudelson, who has written 12 books on green building, achieved recognition as a LEED Fellow, and chaired the steering committee for Greenbuild for eight years, will oversee the growth of the non-profit organization, including the development, expansion, and marketing of Green Globes.

An alternative to LEED, Green Globes is a Web-based program for green-building guidance and certification that includes an on-site assessment by a third party.
