Water is the next great frontier. With worldwide population growth, limited water supplies caused by droughts, and growing urbanization, water is becoming harder to come by. Water efficiency and the legislation that regulates it is becoming just as important as energy efficiency.
How does a paradigm shift come about? Well it is usually the case that people start to notice ways in which a certain view or interpretation of something doesn’t make sense. Opening day of the 2014 AHR Expo saw crowds gathering as a winter strom prepared to descend on New York City. Over the course of the week, nearly 61,000 visitors and attendees flooded the aisles in search of the latest, hotest, newest technologies for the mechanical systems industry.
In New York City's quest for environmentally sustainable mechanical systems, LEED buildings are just the start. Truly sustainable buildings should be the goal. Sustainability remains a major focus in the HVACR industry and this year's AHR Expo, at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City, adds more green to the Big Apple's quest.

For mechanical systems engineers, facility engineers, and Design/Build contractors serving n the HVAC industry, this special page will provide you the latest information on everything happening at the 2014 AHR Expo before, during, and after the show.

It's just a few weeks away. Yup, I'm talking about the 2014 AHR Exposition, which is being held this year in the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. In anticipation of this great annual event — now celebrating its 66th year, the editorial team at HPAC Engineering has createds a special place on our website, where we will gather together all the information, content, news, and stories that come out of this event.

With more than 1800 exhibitors, there's bound to be so much information, that there's just no way for us to print it all. And that is the purpose of this page. We will bring you up-to-the-minute nformation on everything happening at the expo, before, during, and after it has run its course. So check out what we've posted there now and keep coming back as we will be adding more information on what 2014 holds from a technology and industry news standpoint.
