Morrison, who succeeds Dieter Sauer, who recently was promoted to regional managing director for Grundfos Americas, will have complete profit and loss responsibility, including sales and operations. He will report directly to Jonathan Hamp-Adams, general manager of Grundfos USA.

“My goals for the Water Utility team include continuing the strong growth trajectory we have been able to realize over the past three years in the U.S.,” Morrison, who joined Grundfos in 2007 and has held various corporate roles during his nine-year tenure, said.

Morrison will be based out of the company’s Aurora, Ill., facility.

“We will continue to add new and exciting product to our portfolio and localize engineering and manufacturing of our main product lines,” Morrison said. “In addition, we will continue to grow brand awareness, acceptance, and loyalty among our expanding customer base of municipal water- and wastewater-system operators and managers.”
