ASHRAE Seeking Papers

The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) is seeking papers for its 2011 Annual Conference, which will be held June 25-29 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Papers are sought for tracks on refrigeration, HVAC systems, HVAC fundamentals and applications, net-zero-energy buildings, professional skills, engineering tools, commissioning, and alternative technologies.

Full-length technical papers or conference-paper abstracts should be submitted by Sept. 17. For submittal requirements and contacts, go to www.ashrae.org/montreal.

$avings Predictor estimates energy savings from the use of a variable-frequency drive instead of conventional volume-control methods.
