During the Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition (AHR Expo), held Jan. 25-27 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., Optimum Energy LLC, a provider of HVAC software solutions, announced that HPAC Engineering Editorial Advisory Board member Tom Hartman, PE, will be partnering with the company to bring his HVAC design and control expertise to the company's largest projects.
Hartman, principal of The Hartman Co. and discoverer of the Equal Marginal Performance Principal upon which Optimum Energy's OptimumHVAC Ultra High Performance software solutions are based, will work with the company's engineering-services team, lead by HPAC Engineering Editorial Advisory Board member Ben Erpelding, PE, CEM. The engineering-services team has experience in the design, validation, and optimization of commercial HVAC systems.
Also during the Expo, Optimum Energy received an honorable mention in the green-building category of the 2010 AHR Expo Innovation Awards for its HVAC software.
