Spirax Sarco Inc., provider of products and services for steam systems, recently announced the appointment of Javier Jimena as president and general manager.
Jimena, who is responsible for the U.S. business of Spirax Sarco, assumed his role on July 17.
“Spirax Sarco has been present for more than 100 years in the United States of America,” Jimena said. “I am convinced that we have a great opportunity to elevate our services to our customers, developing a win-win relationship. I am very enthusiastic about this new challenge and trust to exceed expectations.”
Jimena has more than 32 years of experience in leadership roles. Previously, he was regional general manager, leading Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Latin America, for Spirax Sarco Argentina. Before joining Spirax Sarco, he held a number of general- and strategic-management positions in Argentina and Brazil. He has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from UCES University in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
