Bell & Gossett Releases 2017 Q2 Little Red Schoolhouse Schedule

March 14, 2017
All seminars are designed to meet industry credentialing requirements and bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge of HVAC and real-world applications.

Bell & Gossett, manufacturer of pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and accessories for plumbing, wastewater, and HVAC and brand of Xylem, today released the second-quarter 2017 schedule for its Little Red Schoolhouse (LRSH).

Offered in Morton Grove, Ill., all LRSH seminars are designed to meet industry credentialing requirements and bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge of HVAC systems and real-world applications.

“Our training seminars are uniquely tailored to give students hands-on experience that is specific to their occupation within the industry,” Larry Konopacz, senior manager for Bell & Gossett Little Red Schoolhouse Training & Education, said. “After completing a training seminar, students have the knowledge and skills they need to confidently tackle a variety of troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance projects.”

The seminars and dates for the second quarter are:

  • Design & Application of Water Based HVAC Systems, April 3-5.
  • Large Chilled Water System Design, April 10-12.
  • Design & Application of Water Based HVAC Systems, May 8-10.
  • Modern Hydronic Heating Systems—Basic, May 22-24.
  • Design & Application of Water Based HVAC Systems, June 5-7.
  • Service & Maintenance of Water Based HVAC Systems, June 19-21.

All of the seminars except Service & Maintenance of Water Based HVAC Systems are approved by Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI) for credit toward the credential-maintenance requirements of the LEED Associate and LEED AP certifications.

Intended to complement the more in-depth, hands-on experience students receive during the in-person courses is Bell & Gossett’s Online Little Red Schoolhouse (OLRSH). Students can choose from four courses: piping systems, waterside economization, centrifugal-pump fundamentals, and pressure-boosting systems. Industry professionals who complete the virtual courses are eligible to receive International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) Continuing Education Units.
