Chiller-Plant Upgrades at Financial-Services Headquarters

TIAA-CREF recently completed upgrades to its headquarters in midtown Manhattan that are anticipated to save $765,000 in energy and operating costs annually.

HPAC.com sister site ContractingBusiness.com has a report on recently completed upgrades to TIAA-CREF’s headquarters in midtown Manhattan that are anticipated to save $765,000 in energy and operating costs annually.

The upgrades include a chilled-water/central-plant thermal-storage system and an advanced rooftop system, which are expected to reduce the building’s carbon emissions by 6.1 million lb per year and enhance comfort and productivity.
