Taco Leader Endows Forum to Study Manufacturing

The Brookings Institution, a private nonprofit organization devoted to independent research and innovative policy solutions, recently announced the launch of the John Hazen White, Jr. Forum on Public Policy, named for the president and chief executive officer of Taco Inc., who will endow the forum and fund activities related to manufacturing and innovation.

The Brookings Institution, a private nonprofit organization devoted to independent research and innovative policy solutions, recently announced the launch of the John Hazen White, Jr. Forum on Public Policy, named for the president and chief executive officer of Taco Inc., who will endow the forum and fund activities related to manufacturing and innovation.

“As a manufacturer in business over 90 years, Taco is proud to be a company making things here in America,” White said. “The American manufacturer is an important part of our economic strength and health as a country, and we need to do everything we can to encourage and support an American manufacturing comeback.”
