Patrick Mathieu Takes Over as Armacell CEO

Patrick Mathieu is the new chief executive officer of technical-insulation manufacturer Armacell International.

Patrick Mathieu is the new chief executive officer of technical-insulation manufacturer Armacell International.

Previously, Mathieu was president of the Western Europe and International Flooring Division of Tarkett Group. Prior to that, he held various management positions in the Saint-Gobain Group for more than 20 years. As regional director, he was responsible for the insulation division of the Saint-Gobain Group in Western Europe and then, as regional director for the Mediterranean region, for Saint-Gobain's gypsum, insulation, and mortar products.

The 51-year-old Frenchman succeeded Stephan Kessel, who had held the role on an interim basis since 2011 and returned to his previous position of advisory-board chairman.
