Parker Hannifin Acquires Sporlan Valve Co.

Parker Hannifin Corp., the Cleveland-based manufacturer of motion and control technologies and systems, recently completed its acquisition of Sporlan Valve Co., the Washington, Mo.-based manufacturer of refrigeration and air-conditioning components, controls, and systems.

Sporlan is now a division of Parker's Climate and Industrial Controls Group.

Andover and TAC Merge

Tour Andover Controls is the new company formed from the merger of TAC (once known as Tour & Andersson Controls) and Andover Controls.

Arne Frank is the CEO.

ARI Elects Chairman

Geraud Darnis, president of Carrier Corp., was elected chairman of the board of directors of the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute.
