The Denver Chapter of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) is sponsoring the eighth-annual Advanced Facilities Management and Engineering Conference and Exhibits (AFEC) Nov. 12 to 13 in Denver, Colo. The conference is the largest of its type in the Rocky Mountain Region and will serve as an educational and networking event for facility professionals and those who provide products and services to facility managers and engineers.
According to the AFEC Website, the conference is “…dedicated to increasing the skills and knowledge of facility managers and engineers in the Rocky Mountain Region, preparing them to meet the demands of their occupation today, tomorrow, and into the future.”
Maintenance points will be awarded to facility-management professionals who attend the conference seminars. The seminars will include topics, such as green sustainability in existing buildings, energy optimization, and information about available water and utility rebates.
