Carrier Launches Rooftop-Selection Mobile App

Carrier, provider of high-technology heating, air-conditioning, and refrigeration solutions and part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp., recently introduced Rooftops, a free mobile application developed to aid the selection of light-commercial rooftop equipment.

Carrier, provider of high-technology heating, air-conditioning, and refrigeration solutions and part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp., recently introduced Carrier Rooftops, a free mobile application developed to aid the selection of light-commercial rooftop equipment.

Said to be the first of its kind in the commercial HVAC industry, the app enables users to perform on-the-spot selection of rooftop units for replacement or new construction and estimate the energy savings that can be realized with Carrier Weather Series rooftop units. Users can input an existing Carrier unit model number or desired unit specifications and obtain the optimal Carrier model to meet those requirements. Once users have selected the best solution for their application, they can enter their ZIP code and connect to a local distributor by phone, e-mail, or text message to obtain real-time pricing and delivery information.

Carrier Rooftops is available for download here, the iTunes app store, and Google Play app store for the iPad tablet and iPhone and Android smart phones.
