Vanderbilt University's three new residence halls achieved Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) gold certification. The college now has seven LEED-certified buildings at The Commons, the university's new campus for first-year students. ASHRAE Technology Awards Highlight Outstanding Building Projects
The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) recognized five technology-award winners of its Technology Awards this week at its winter conference in Chicago. The recipients have applied ASHRAE standards for effective energy management and indoor-air quality while designing a community center, a school, an office building, or a governmental building.
