The National Institute of Building Sciences buildingSMART alliance is accepting ballot submissions for Version 2 of National BIM Standard – United States (NBIMS-US) through May 2.

Since Version 1 - Part 1 was released in 2008, a number of new processes have evolved, including information-exchange standards for construction operations and product specifications. Additionally, the buildingSMART alliance has worked with various associations and organizations to address the building-information-modeling (BIM) needs of specific member groups.

Both individuals and organizations can serve on the NBIMS-US Project Committee. To get involved in the process, click here.
