ASHRAE will present a free Webinar, “Assessing Building Energy Performance: From Principles to Practice,” April 18 from 1-4 p.m. EDT.

ASHRAE will present a free Webinar, “Assessing Building Energy Performance: From Principles to Practice,” April 18 from 1-4 p.m. EDT.

The Webinar will address the importance of building energy performance and its far-reaching implications for both new and existing buildings, as well as the opportunities assessing building energy performance presents.

The presenters will be:

• ASHRAE President Thomas Watson, PE, chief engineer, Daikin McQuay, Staunton, Va.

• Drury Crawley, PhD, PE, director of building performance, Bentley Systems, Washington, D.C.

• Jim Kelsey, principal, kW Engineering, Oakland, Calif.

• Christopher Mathis, president, MC Squared, Asheville, N.C.

The Webinar program is approved for three learning units by The American Institute of Architects, as well as three continuing-education hours by the Green Building Certification Institute.
