Building-products company CertainTeed Corp. recently launched the Academy of Continuing Education, an online resource for professional training and technical information.

Developed in conjunction with McGraw Hill Construction, the academy features continuing-education-unit (CEU) courses and provides access to applied-building-science expertise through CertainTeed’s subject-matter experts and live events.

All CEU courses are accredited by The American Institute of Architects, with many also certified by the Green Building Certification Institute. Users are said to be able to easily organize and keep track of their completed courses and earned credits.

Online content is accessible 24/7 via multiple platforms and devices.

Recent courses include “Understanding and Improving Indoor Air Quality,” “Understanding LEED 2009 vs. LEED Version 4: Driving Transparency in the Marketplace,” and “Creating Superior Acoustic Environments in Schools With Evidence-Based Design.”
