TROX Names CEO and President
TROX, the Germany-based developer, manufacturer, and marketer of air-conditioning and ventilation components and systems, recently named Scott Wenaas chief executive officer and president of its Cumming, Ga.-based U.S. subsidiary, TROX USA Inc.

Wenaas joins TROX USA from Johnson Controls Inc., which he served most recently as general manager. He began his career as a sales engineer for Trane prior to joining York International (acquired by Johnson Controls in 2005).

Formed in 1996, TROX USA has more than 30 employees involved in the development, sale, servicing, and manufacture of chilled beams, underfloor fan terminals, raised-floor diffusers, and displacement diffusers.

UVDI Appoints President
UltraViolet Devices Inc. (UVDI), the Valencia, Calif.-based provider of air, surface, and water ultraviolet-C-disinfection and activated-carbon-filtration solutions for the residential, commercial, institutional, and health-care markets, recently promoted Richard Hayes, formerly vice president of sales and marketing, to president of the company.

Hayes is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, from which he earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. Prior to joining UVDI in 2009, he held senior sales, marketing, and general-management positions in the automotive industry.
