O&M the Key to Keeping Green Buildings Optimized

After a building has been optimized, proper operations and maintenance (O&M) becomes the tool that will enable it to sustain its best performance. As might be expected, as building systems become more efficient and more tightly controlled, they also become more complex. In turn, so does O&M.

LEED-Certified Building Stock Tops 2 Billion Sq Ft Worldwide

The U.S. Green Building Council recently announced the total footprint of commercial buildings around the world certified under its Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) green-building program now exceeds 2 billion sq ft, with an additional 7 billion sq ft in the pipeline in the form of registered projects.
