Facility-Management Event to be Held in Baltimore

Serving the educational and professional-development needs of facility decision makers, NFMT will be held March 15-17 in Baltimore, Md. Composed of four individual, co-located events—the National Facilities Management & Technology Conference & Expo, Maintenance Solutions Expo, GreenTech, and Safe Buildings Expo—NFMT is a free event that features educational sessions, an exhibit hall, and networking events.

Attendees can customize their educational experience by choosing sessions from 10 tracks, including “Automation’s Impact on Benchmarking” and “BACnet Fundamentals 101” featured in the Technology track. The exhibit hall highlights the products and services of more than 500 companies and associations, such as Automated Logic Corp., BACnet International, and Reliable Controls.

Additionally, honorees of the FMXcellence Recognition Program will be celebrated during a best-practices summit hosted at the event. The program is an initiative from Building Operating Management magazine that aims to award facility-management departments that spearhead and execute stand-out projects and programs. The honorees will be chosen based on their ability to demonstrate that they added significant value to their facility by helping to achieve broader goals. A range of facility-management efforts are eligible for recognition under the program, including use of technology, metrics for facility performance, and safety and security.
