FMLink, USGBC, BOMA, and AFE Announce Energy-Savings Survey
FMLink, the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), the Association for Facilities Engineering (AFE), and Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International have launched a survey to study energy-savings measures companies have undertaken. The goal of the survey is to help companies identify their "best bets" for energy efficiency. The survey is open to facility owners and managers and focuses on commercial, industrial, government, academic, medical, and other types of nonresidential facilities. American Boiler Manufacturers Association Endorses EGB Conference
The American Boiler Manufacturers Association (ABMA) announced that it is an endorsing association for HPAC Engineering's fifth annual Engineering Green Buildings (EGB) Conference and Expo, which will be held Oct. 21 and 22 at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. In making the announcement, Randy Rawson, ABMA's President and CEO, encouraged "all ABMA manufacturer- and supplier-member companies involved in the commercial, institutional, and governmental-building sectors to take advantage of this great marketing opportunity."
