Rick Fedrizzi, president, chief executive officer, and founding chairman of the U.S. Green Building Council, and Valentine A. Lehr, PE, senior partner, Lehr Consultants International, will serve as keynote speakers for the 10th Global Engineering Conference, which will take place April 9-11 at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas.

The theme of this year's event, sponsored by Carrier Corp. and HPAC Engineering, is designing and building for sustainability, with goals of reducing the consumption of non-renewable natural resources, minimizing waste, and creating healthy, productive environments.

Speakers will discuss solutions that provide environmental, societal, and human benefits while reducing construction and operating costs. All aspects of a project, including planning, design, construction, operation, and decommissioning, will be covered.
