PRESS RELEASES

RACINE, WI, Aug. 4, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Modine Manufacturing Company (NYSE: MOD), a diversified global leader in thermal management technology and solutions, announced the appointments of Eric S. McGinnis to Vice President, Building HVAC, and Adrian I. Peace to VP, Commercial and Industrial Solutions (CIS).

In the new role, McGinnis will be responsible for the leadership of the Modine's Building HVAC Systems segment, which provides heating, indoor air quality and precision cooling products to a variety of commercial, industrial and residential end markets. He replaces Matthew J. McBurney, who will remain at Modine, assisting with the transition and leading other special projects related to the company's real estate footprint and business development initiatives.

McGinnis has more than 28 years of global industrial leadership experience, most recently serving as President, Industrial Systems, at Regal Beloit Corp.  During his 17 years at Regal Beloit, he held roles of increasing responsibility, including VP, Business Development (M&A and Strategy) and VP, Industrial Motors. Prior to that, he spent 11 years with General Electric in various business leadership roles, including General Manager of its Commercial and Industrial Motors business, and GE Motors' first joint venture in China.

"I am very excited to welcome Eric to the executive management team," said Modine CEO Neil D. Brinker. "Eric brings an abundance of industrial experience and expertise to this position, along with a track record of successfully implementing 80/20 principles to increase revenue, profitability and cash flow returns. His ability to drive profitable growth and execute on business development opportunities makes him the perfect leader for our Building HVAC segment."

Brinker added, "I would also like to thank Matt McBurney for his leadership of the Building HVAC segment, which was instrumental in the growth and success of this business. I am pleased that he will stay with Modine."

Peace to Lead CIS Group

For his part, Peace will be responsible for leading Modine's Commercial and Industrial Solutions ("CIS") segment, which provides coils, coolers and coatings to a variety of commercial and industrial end markets. He replaces Scott A. Miller, who will be retiring later this fiscal year.

Peace has more than 25 years of global industrial leadership experience, most recently serving as a strategic advisor to the waste, recycling and industrial distribution industries as well as lending his process knowledge on sustainability. Prior to that, he served as Senior VP, Emerging Business Operations, and led sustainability for Republic Services, which provides non-hazardous waste management services for commercial, industrial, municipal, and residential customers.

Previously, Peace also had served as VP, Specialty Brands, M&A and Brazil, for W.W. Grainger and in various other leadership roles. He also spent 23 years with GE, including serving as President & CEO of GE's Consumer & Industrials Latin America business.

"I am thrilled to welcome Adrian to Modine as the leader of our CIS segment," said Modine's Brinker. "He is a proven leader whose wealth of industrial and operational experience has allowed him to execute on strategies for both business transformation and operational turnaround.  I am confident that he is the perfect leader to reduce complexity and drive profitable growth in this segment."

Brinker concluded, "I would also like to thank Scott Miller for his leadership of the CIS segment and to the Building HVAC segment prior to that. In Scott's 22 years with Modine, he has held many important roles, and was always willing to take on new challenges. I am pleased that he will stay with Modine to assist with this transition prior to his retirement."
