Canarm To Grow Ontario Plant Yet Again

July 31, 2019
The growing manufacturer of energy-efficient ventilation products is launching a two-phase expansion that will add substantial capacity, as well as state-of-the-art technology and robotics.

BROCKVILLE, ONTARIO, CANADA – Canarm Ltd., a global marketer and manufacturer of lighting, livestock stabling, air moving and related products supplying the residential, agricultural, commercial/industrial and HVAC markets, broke ground July 19 at its expanding Parkedale Avenue, Brockville facility.

In recent years, Canarm has doubled its HVAC production area at this facility to 100,000 square feet, and invested in state-of-the-art manufacturing technology and robotics to provide the speed, accuracy and quality required for today’s energy-efficient ventilation products. The new expansion will add an additional 90,000 square feet to its existing structure in two phases, to be completed over the next several years. Phase one, which will begin by the end of August, will see the addition of approximately 57,000 square feet. Phase two allows for the addition of 32,000 square feet, as required.

This first addition will be used primarily for warehousing so existing space can re-focus on the manufacturing of the commercial/industrial HVAC products produced at the Brockville Center of Excellence facility. “Brockville is HVAC – we have great people and expertise that we need to put more building around to serve our customers better. We continue to re-invest in assets that are valuable to our customers!” says Canarm President and COO Jim Cooper.

Canarm is a privately owned company that has been in business for over 80 years. It employs more than 300 people in North America while owning the production in nearly 30 China factories. Its corporate vision has always been to provide customers with value, knowledge and quality products.
