IAPMO Hires New VP of Industry Relations and Business Development

The IAPMO Group hired Cambria McLeod as vice president of industry relations and business development. She is an industry expert in product compliance, with 17 years of experience in the plumbing industry, connecting stakeholders and working to guide compliance, assess risk and support global market access.

Prior to joining IAPMO, McLeod held various roles at Kohler Co., including quality engineer, sales engineer, senior staff engineer and, most recently, manager of codes, standards and regulations.

“IAPMO’s vision, to protect public health and safety and improve safe and sustainable water and sanitation around the world, aligns with my personal and professional values,” she said. “I have a passion for water, truly enjoy product compliance and value the depth of knowledge within the industry. I am looking forward to jumping right in and joining the IAPMO team!”

Among her new responsibilities, McLeod will cultivate new relationships and deepen existing relationships with IAPMO’s customer base, collaborate with department heads in the strategic development, planning, oversight and execution of IAPMO's business development strategies, objectives and initiatives throughout North America and abroad, and support government relations and field services in developing analyses, technical positions and comments for public rulemaking.

McLeod has been involved in numerous industry committees, standards committees and task groups including the Plumbing Manufacturers International board of directors, the American Supply Association, the Alliance for Water Efficiency, the American Society of Plumbing Engineers and the Canadian Standards Association.
