Analog-to-Digital Signal Converters

Dec. 4, 2012
ADC Series analog-to-digital signal converters readily accept analog signals from up to eight loop or separately powered sensors, including current, voltage, and temperature, and seamlessly convert them to a digital-signal output that interfaces with the industry standard Modbus RTU digital protocol using a single network address.

ADC Series analog-to-digital signal converters readily accept analog signals from up to eight loop or separately powered sensors, including current, voltage, and temperature, and seamlessly convert them to a digital-signal output that interfaces with the industry standard Modbus RTU digital protocol using a single network address. Sensor loop power supplied by the converter can eliminate the needs for a separate DC power supply. The ADC series can be factory-set for 120 or 240 VAC power supplies. The ADC series is well-suited for photovoltaic power production because of its ability to measure output current accurately, and its ability to measure voltage output from any sensor with a 4-20 mA output. —NK Technologies.
