In a post-9/11 world, preparedness has become essential. We live in what seem to be more dangerous times than ever before; without a plan for what to do in an emergency, chaos could ensue. Every building manager and owner, even those in smaller towns and cities, must keep this in mind. There needs to be a plan of action well before a threat presents itself.

As Sun Tzu said in his famous book, The Art of War: “The general who wins the battle makes many calculations in his temple before the battle is fought. The general who loses makes but few calculations beforehand.”
