Bryan Steam Celebrating 100-Year Anniversary in 2016

June 15, 2016
Bryan Steam offers a broad range of boilers, including gas-, oil-, and gas/oil-fired boilers, as well as electric, condensing, low-NOx, and knockdown boilers.

Bryan Steam LLC, originator of flexible-water-tube design, is celebrating 100 years in business in 2016.

Founded in 1916 by George Bryan as Bryan Harvester Co., the company began by producing cars and steam-powered tractors. In 1922, following the rise of the gasoline engine, the company stopped producing cars and tractors and began marketing the bent-water-tube boiler that had powered its steam-powered vehicles, becoming Bryan Steam LLC.

Today, Bryan Steam offers a broad range of boilers, including gas-, oil-, and gas/oil-fired boilers, as well as electric, condensing, low-nitrogen-oxide, and knockdown boilers. The flexible-water-tube design provides fast natural internal circulation for maximum heat-transfer and operating efficiency. Bryan Steam also manufactures indirect water heaters, pool heaters, feed systems, and related equipment and accessories.

To celebrate its 100th year in business, Bryan Steam is planning an open house in August for employees, North American representatives, vendors, and local and state dignitaries. The “family picnic” event will be held at Bryan Steam’s manufacturing facility in Peru, Ind.
