Greenheck, the Schofield, Wis.-based manufacturer and distributor of air-movement and control equipment, recently added a course on fan motors to its Fan Fundamentals Online Training series.

Available at no cost, the course covers motor categories, motor-nameplate information, motor selection and specification, and what to do in the event of a motor failure.

Greenheck also offers online courses covering fan fundamentals, fan coatings, fan construction materials, fan accessories, and fan bearings.

Registration is not required; however, participants who register online prior to taking a course can receive a certificate of completion.
