Volunteers Sought for AMCA Air-Curtain-Unit Technical Committee

April 19, 2016
AMCA is seeking volunteers for the revision of AMCA Standard 220, Laboratory Methods of Testing Air Curtain Units for Aerodynamic Performance Ratings.

Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) International Inc. is seeking volunteers to serve on the technical committee for the revision of AMCA Standard 220, Laboratory Methods of Testing Air Curtain Units for Aerodynamic Performance Ratings.

AMCA Standard 220 establishes uniform methods for the laboratory testing of air-curtain units to determine aerodynamic performance in terms of airflow rate, outlet air-velocity uniformity, power consumption, and air-velocity projection for rating or guarantee purposes.

Committee members would be expected to participate in the drafting, review, and resolution of any and all comments until the revised publication is approved by the membership. Most, if not all, meetings will be conducted via conference call.

For more information and to volunteer, contact Erin Moore at [email protected] or +1 (847) 704-6285 by May 22, 2016.
