HPAC 'On The Air': Cybersecurity Wake-Up Call, with Nick Espinosa

Sept. 1, 2023
*PODCAST* Our industry's online 'security fanatic' returns to fill us in on what's keeping him up at night and what you can do to protect your business.

In this new episode, HPAC 'On The Air' welcomes back Nick Espinosa, a nationally renowned cybersecurity expert, author, podcaster, TEDx speaker and a member of the Forbes Technology Council. In 2015 outside Chicago, Nick started his own consulting firm, Security Fanatics, from which he has been monitoring the broader internet, as well as the Dark Web, and consulting to a number of industries, including our own for engineering and construction.

We last spoke to Espinosa here in early 2021 and later that year, he also hosted a webinar for HPAC readers on cybersecurity. Of course, technology continues to advance so quickly in our industry and our daily lives that we felt it was definitely time to revisit this subject. So, here, Espinosa gives our listeners an updated refresher on the best safe practices they should be following in running their businesses and managing their projects.
