EASA Names 2018-2019 Officers, Executive Committee

Chairman Gary Byars of Heavy Machines Inc., Memphis, Tenn., has 44 years of experience in the electrical apparatus industry.

St. Louis-based Electrical Apparatus Service Association announced its new international officers for the 2018-2019 administrative year: Chairman Gary Byars of Heavy Machines Inc., Memphis, Tenn.; Vice Chairman Brian Larry of Larry Electric Motor Services Ltd., Peterborough, Ontario, Canada; and Secretary/Treasurer Jerry Gray of Sloan Electromechanical Service & Sales, San Diego.        

Byars has 44 years of experience in the electrical apparatus industry.  He previously held every elected office in EASA’s Mid-South Chapter and served as Director of EASA Region 4.   

Serving on the Executive Committee with the above officers are Immediate Past Chairman Lenwood Ireland of Ireland Electric, Virginia Beach, Va.; Tim Bieber of D-Electric Inc., Quakertown, Pa.; and Judi Johnson of Jemco Inc., West Fargo, N.D.

The EASA is an international trade organization consisting of approximately 1,800 electromechanical sales and service firms in nearly 80 countries. EASA keeps members up to date on materials, equipment and state-of-the-art technology related to sales, service and maintenance of electric motors, generators, drives, controls, pumps and other electromechanical equipment.
