Biggers Named President of Charlotte Pipe and Foundry

Board of directors has elected John Biggers to become company president, effective Jan. 1, 2023. Current President and CEO Hooper Hardison will remain as CEO.

CHARLOTTE, NC – December 16, 2022 – On November 15, 2022, the Charlotte Pipe and Foundry Company Board of Directors elected John Biggers as President of Charlotte Pipe and Foundry Company effective January 1, 2023. Current President and CEO Hooper Hardison will remain in the role of CEO.

“Over the past 33 years of service, John has proven himself to be an accomplished executive and an effective leader,” said CEO Hardison. “His years of experience, his tremendous knowledge of our business and the plumbing industry, and his longstanding customer relationships will serve him well in his new role.”

Biggers joined Charlotte Pipe in 1989, and worked through many departments at the company’s Cast Iron and Plastics divisions before moving to the Administrative location to work in the Customer Service area. He later became a Regional Sales Manager with responsibilities for the Washington DC/Baltimore/Northern Virginia region, as well as the greater New York City area, New Jersey, and upstate New York.

In 2012, Biggers was promoted to Senior Vice President for Sales. Since that time, he has overseen tremendous growth in all our sales channels across the U.S.
