Green-Building Course Series Approved for Continuing-Education Credits

Those who complete a course are eligible to receive 30 GBCI-approved continuing-education hours and 28 AIA-approved Health, Safety, Welfare learning units.

"Breaking Ground: The Future of Green Building," the newest course series from the Green Building Research Institute, has been approved by Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI) and The American Institute of Architects (AIA) as a source of continuing education for engineers, architects, and green-building professionals.

Individuals who complete a course are eligible to receive 30 GBCI-approved continuing-education hours and 28 AIA-approved Health, Safety, Welfare learning units. Topics that are covered include LEED v4, the WELL Building Standard, health-care and school certification projects, biomimicry, building-level energy and water metering, ecotourism, and sustainability in the supply chain.

Professionals have up to two full years to complete the curriculum, with courses delivered live and on demand.
