On-Demand Webinar: Refrigerants Reckoning > Where we are... What to expect... What steps are needed

NOW AVAILABLE ON-DEMAND: Recorded Oct. 27, this new HPAC Engineering webinar discusses the imminent deadline for new refrigerants and how best to prepare.
This presentation was originally recorded October 27, 2022, and is now available for on-demand viewing.

Duration: 1 hour

SUMMARY

Our new editorial webinar covers the national AIM Act Refrigerant Phasedown, and what current and future impact the EPA's Global Warming Potential (GWP) allocations will have on the price/lbs of HFC refrigerants and the industry markets, overall.

The presentation reviews the key aspects of the AIM Act and state actions that are driving the accelerated transition to lower GWP refrigerants and how those actions will affect the pricing, potential availability, and documentation and reporting requirements. We look at what is currently happening and discuss what the future may hold for federal EPA refrigerant regulations based on the current proposals and programs already initiated at the state level.

The webinar also discusses “future proof” refrigerant transition options, including A2L’s and natural refrigerants. It covers the challenges associated with this latest transition to lower GWP refrigerants and how that differs from the transition away from the ozone-depleting CFC and HCFC (R12 & R22) refrigerants. Several compelling attendee questions are asked and answered in the substantive Q&A session that follows the main presentation.
