Carrier Reintroduces Mobile App for Commercial Chillers

Dec. 30, 2016
With new cloud technology, the app is updated immediately and automatically. Additionally, the app includes information on more products.

Carrier recently announced new capabilities for Carrier Chillers, a mobile app offering a quick and easy way to select a Carrier commercial packaged chiller.

With new cloud technology, the app is updated immediately and automatically. Additionally, the app includes information on more products.

“We are excited about this update to our Carrier Chillers mobile app, as it will further improve our customers’ chiller-selection experience by reducing search time while providing the most accurate and up-to-date results,” Chris Opie, director, marketing, Carrier Commercial Systems, said. “… Using the latest mobile technology allows us to put the most up-to-date chiller and sales-office information at our customers’ fingertips.”

The Carrier Chiller app allows users to input a chiller type, capacity, and compression and then receive key technical data and product features for units meeting those requirements. By entering their ZIP code, users can connect with a local sales expert to obtain further information and sales support.

The updated version provides:

  • Increased device compatibility by running on the latest operating systems, including Apple iOS 6.0 and above (including iOS 9.0), Android 4.0 and above, and Windows 8.0 and above.
  • Automatic updates (when open with Internet connection).
  • Information on the expanded Carrier air-cooled-chiller offering, including the 30RB, 30XA, and 30RAPs.

The app is free and available for download for iPad tablets and iPhone, Android, and Windows smartphones at carrier.com/commercial.
