HPAC Engineering, Greenheck Team up for No-cost Webinar

The popularity of dedicated outdoor-air systems (DOAS) continues to increase as clients and codes require higher levels of indoor-air quality and energy costs continue to escalate. The use of enthalpy recovery further enhances the benefits of DOAS by allowing outdoor-air-equipment-size reductions, additonal annual energy savings, and improved humidity control. A Webinar presented free of charge by Greenheck and produced by HPAC Engineering will be held at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT on Sept. 29 to discuss these benefits, the practical application of energy recovery, and other system design considerations for optimizing DOAS performance. 2010 EGB CONFERENCE

HPAC Engineering's seventh annual Engineering Green Buildings (EGB) Conference and Contracting Business' HVAC Comfortech and Commercial HVACR Symposium will join forces for the second annual HVACR Week Sept. 22-24 at the Baltimore Convention Center.

HVACR Week attendees will be able to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the “Miracle on Ice” with opening keynote speaker Mike Eruzione, captain of the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team. Eruzione will captivate the audience with stories of overcoming odds.

For more information on the only event focused on green engineering applications as they apply to mechanical systems for non-residential buildings, visit www.egbconference.com.
