Vienna, VA – September 1, 2026 – The American Boiler Manufacturers Association (ABMA) today announced a leadership transition. After 12 years with ABMA, Scott Lynch has concluded his tenure as President & CEO. The Board of Directors has appointed Vice President Shaunica Jayson to serve as Interim President & CEO, effective immediately.

The Board acknowledged Lynch’s years of service and his contributions to the evolution of ABMA and to the many relationships built across the industry during his tenure. The Association wishes him well in his future endeavors.\

Jayson brings deep institutional knowledge and stability to the interim role. A dedicated member of the ABMA team for more than nine years, she knows the Association, its members, and staff extremely well. From this day forward, she has the full support of the Board and Executive Committee to lead ABMA, support its members, and ensure continuity throughout this transition period.

The ABMA Executive Committee is establishing a thoughtful process to identify the next permanent President & CEO. The Board will approach this responsibility with a clear understanding of ABMA’s responsibility to its members, the evolving needs of the industry, and the opportunities ahead.
