Daikin Applied’s 2015 Ideas in Motion roadshow will visit 11 communities across the country with programming for contractors, specifying engineers, and building owners that includes live demonstrations, educational sessions, a preview of newly expanded product lines, and discussions with experts, including of the company’s Intelligent Equipment and what the Internet of Things (IoT) means to the commercial-buildings industry.
Daikin Applied has harnessed the IoT and embedded the Intelligent Equipment platform across its new and legacy rooftop product lines, including Rebel, Maverick II, and RoofPak, enabling machine-to-machine communication to improve efficiencies.
In addition to Intelligent Equipment, products will include new, larger Rebel rooftop units ranging in size from 3 to 28 tons and Trailblazer air-cooled scroll chillers, now available in sizes from 30 to 240 tons. Equipment on display will include the Magnitude magnetic-bearing chiller, the Maverick rooftop unit, MicroTech Integrated System controls, the Pathfinder air-cooled chiller, the Rebel rooftop unit, SmartSource water-source heat pumps, ThinLine fan coils, and Vision air handlers.
