Burnham Holdings Names Christopher Drew President, COO

Lancaster, Pa.-based Burnham Holdings, parent company of 14 subsidiaries that produce boilers and related HVAC products and accessories, promoted Christopher Drew to president and chief operations officer. He assumes the role from Douglas Brossman who, after seven years as president and CEO, will retain his role as chief executive officer. Drew will begin his new role on April 29 at Burnham Holdings’ annual meeting.

Drew, of Lancaster, has served in a variety of positions at Burnham Holdings since 1989, including his most recent position as executive vice president, chief marketing and strategy officer. His notable milestones at Burnham Holdings include founding Thermal Solutions Products in 1996, serving as president of US Boiler from 2007 to 2009 and being elected to the Burnham Holdings board in 2015. He will continue to serve on the board in his new role.

Drew brings extensive knowledge of the HVAC industry to his new position. He has been a long-standing participant in the Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute and continues to serve on the executive committee of the AHRI board of directors after previously serving as treasurer and chairman.

Oklahoma Boiler Equipment Names Director of Sales 

Joel Judkins is the new director of sales at Oklahoma Boiler Equipment, a subsidiary of Superior Boiler Technologies. He will develop new business opportunities and manage industrial equipment sales throughout Oklahoma. Oklahoma Boiler is authorized to sell on behalf of Superior Boiler, Power Flame, Tektube, Siemens Combustion Controls and Heatsponge, among others.

Judkins joins Oklahoma Boiler after working most recently as Oklahoma area manager for Graybar Electric, a North American distributor of components and equipment for the electrical, telecommunications, networking, industrial, commercial and utilities industries. Prior to that position, he served as area manager for National Oilwell Varco and filled several roles with an environmental services group, Pico Inc.

“Joel is an Oklahoma native who has a passion for the area and understands the importance of boilers and ancillary equipment,” said Superior VP Gabriel Dauphin.

Watts Adds to Sales Management Staff

Mark Parent joined Watts as business development manager, HVAC-East. He is responsible for the sales of Watts Radiant and tekmar products in the Eastern United States, working closely with manufacturers’ rep firms, wholesalers, engineers and contractors.  

Parent was formerly director of business development-new markets for Viega, where for 17 years he held many positions. Previously, he also was product manager-OEM for Watts. He is based out of Watts’ North Andover, MA, office. 

Watts named Gary Parker as business development manager, Drains-East. In this role, he is responsible for selling Watts’ drainage products and solutions in the Eastern United States. 

Previously, Parker served in similar roles at Clean Energy Fuels, SteelMaster Buildings and Ferguson Enterprises. He has a bachelor’s degree in resource management from Virginia Tech and an MBA from Averett University. He is based in Virginia Beach, Va.

Greg Brandon was promoted to Watts’ sales director-West. In his new role, Brandon, who joined Watts in 2016, will help to develop and execute the sales strategy for Watts’ portfolio throughout the Northwest, Southwest, and South-Central U.S. sales regions.  

Before joining Watts, Brandon held leadership positions in sales at Supply Technologies, NSG Pilkington and MSC Industrial. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Texas Tech University. He is based in Dallas.
