Since it's not practical to actually travel with your shipment, it can be difficult to know what's actually happening to your product on its journey. In recent years, the cost of damage occuring in the supply chain has been more than $4B annually. For far too many companies, damage is accepted as a cost of doing business, but it doesn't have to be.
