However, the 2020 ASPE business meeting will proceed as an online event on Sept. 12-13.

The American Society of Plumbing Engineers has canceled its 2020 convention and trade show that was to be held Sept. 11-16 in New Orleans.

“ASPE has been monitoring developments regarding the coronavirus pandemic during the past few months as it relates to the entire country, the state of Louisiana, and the city of New Orleans,” the group said. “Given current limitations on travel, the recommendations regarding mass gatherings, and our concern for the health and safety of the ASPE community, we have decided to cancel the 2020 ASPE Convention & Expo event in New Orleans.”

The organization is investigating other opportunities to provide the educational sessions to the membership to provide the continuing education units that members value most. Look for upcoming emails from ASPE and updates to its website for further details as they are determined.

However, the 2020 ASPE business meeting will proceed as an online event on Sept. 12-13. Information will be sent directly to all delegates and updated information on the delegate website.
